FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum 2024: apply by December 7, 2023

Apply now for this pre-Congress meeting for postdocs and PhD students! Successful applicants will be supported by YSF grants.

The 23rd FEBS Young Scientists' Forum ('YSF 2024'), a satellite meeting of the 48th FEBS Congress, will bring together in Pavia around 100 talented postdocs and PhD students from mainly FEBS countries who are working in the molecular and cellular biosciences. Participants will be able to meet up in a friendly international atmosphere for lectures from keynote speakers, short talks and posters from YSF attendees, sessions supporting scientific career development, and a social programme. YSF participants will then move on to also experience the larger 48th FEBS Congress in Milano.

FEBS will financially support participation of successful YSF applicants from FEBS countries* in both the YSF and the ensuing Congress, via YSF grants. Full details of the eligibility criteria are on the YSF applications page. Applicants must submit an abstract to the YSF and Congress as first author, and be a member of a FEBS Constituent Society

YSF applications must be made through the Congress registration system, selecting the YSF Applicant option, by December 7, 2023. Good luck!

*For the YSF 2024, there will also be two places for scientists from non-FEBS countries, funded by IUBMB.

FEBS has twin commitments to high-quality publications and the promotion of molecular biosciences. As a charitable academic organization,
FEBS uses income from the journals to fund its diverse activities, including support for the FEBS Congress.
